Preambles
These conditions aim to define the mutual obligations of the parties as well as the different stages of the ordering process on the site https://www.parallele.com. They are concluded between, on the one hand, the company SC DIFFUSION / PARALLELE, SAS with capital of 40,000 euros whose registered office is located at 8 CITE D'ANGOULEME 75011 PARIS - France registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 415188457 and whose intra-community VAT number is FR89 898 102 009, contactable on telephone number +33 1 89 16 29 69 and by email at contact@parallele.com, hereinafter referred to as "Parallèle-eshop" or "the site".
And, on the other hand, Internet users wishing to make a purchase on the “PARALLELE-ESHOP” website visible at the address: https://www.parallele.com. Hereinafter referred to as “the customer”.
The use of the distance selling process described in these general terms and conditions of sale is reserved for consumers only, that is to say, "any natural person who acts for purposes that do not fall within the scope of his commercial, industrial, craft or liberal activity". In addition, purchases of products on the site are reserved for adults with full legal capacity.
The Site does not allow the purchase of products for resale. Consequently, the user of the site may not claim against PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION any loss of opportunity, exploitation or profit. The parties agree that their relations will be governed exclusively by this contract, to the exclusion of any other conditions. They are concluded intuitu personae and may therefore not be subject to any transfer, of any nature whatsoever. Any order duly validated on the PARALLELE-ESHOP site implies full and unreserved acceptance of these general conditions of sale and, possibly, of the specific or particular conditions relating to one or more products or orders.
ARTICLE 1 – FIELDS OF APPLICATION
The customer declares to have read these general conditions of sale before placing his order and to accept them in their entirety and without reservation.
These general terms and conditions of sale cannot be modified at the customer's initiative. Validation of the order therefore constitutes acceptance without restriction or reservation of these general terms and conditions of sale. This acceptance is demonstrated by checking the box "I have read the general terms and conditions of sale and I adhere to them without reservation."
PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION reserves the right to modify these general terms and conditions of sale without prior notice. The modifications will be applicable as soon as they are posted online and cannot apply to orders previously placed. In the event that one of the clauses of this contract is null and void due to a change in legislation, regulation or a court decision, this shall in no way affect the validity and compliance with these general terms and conditions of sale nor call into question the validity of the other provisions, which will continue to apply. These general terms and conditions apply to the exclusion of all other conditions, and in particular those applicable to sales in stores or through other distribution or marketing channels.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 1369-1 of the Civil Code, these general terms and conditions of sale may be stored by any person visiting the Site by means of a computer recording and may also be reproduced by the customer by means of printing.
ARTICLE 2 – INFORMATION CONCERNING THE ARTICLES ON THE SITE
2.1 Articles
PARALLELE-ESHOP is a website that offers for sale items such as PARALLELE brand shoes, bags, belts, gloves and the recommended products for their care. The items visible on the site are available while stocks last. Consequently, PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION SAS does not guarantee in any way that the products will remain on sale for a given period. Any customer complaint regarding the order or delivery of an unavailable item will be considered unfounded.
The products offered for sale are described and presented with the greatest possible accuracy. However, if errors or omissions may have occurred in this presentation, PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION cannot be held liable. The photographs illustrating the products in support of the text do not form part of the contractual scope.
2.2 Price
The price of the items is that indicated on the Site, in Euros, no other currency being accepted by the Site for the payment of the items. PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION reserves the right to modify the price of the items at any time, the applicable price will then be that mentioned on the site at the time of the order by the customer.
In the European Union, prices include all taxes, with delivery charges possibly being charged in addition.
Outside the European Union, prices are displayed excluding taxes, delivery costs may be charged in addition.
VAT included is the French VAT rate in effect for the products concerned. If the VAT rate changes, these changes may be reflected in the price of the items without prior notice to the customer.
Shipping costs will be automatically displayed on the Site when the customer confirms their chosen shipping method. For shipping and return details, please refer to the Shipping & Returns page.
The price is payable in cash, in full on the day the order is placed by the buyer, by secure payment in accordance with the terms described in article 3.1.
In accordance with the provisions of Article L121-19 of the Consumer Code, the customer will receive, upon delivery, for each of the items, written confirmation of the price paid detailing the price of the items and the delivery costs payable by him in the form of an invoice.
Any order placed on the site and whose delivery country (or region) is outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties. These customs duties are imposed by the country's current regulations. These taxes are the customer's responsibility. We have no control over these charges and are unable to determine their amount in advance. Customs duties and clearance policies vary greatly from country to country; we recommend contacting your local authorities for more information.
In the event of the recipient refusing to pay customs duties or taxes, any amounts requested and taxed from parallèlee-eshop.com to recover this package will be deducted from the amount of the refund made to the customer.
ARTICLE 3 – PLACING AN ORDER
3.1 Validation of an order
The customer interested in an item visible on the PARALLELE-ESHOP website follows the following process to place their order. After clicking on the "Add to cart" icon and after checking the specifics of their order (color, quantity, price, etc.), the customer confirms the choice of the selected product(s) by clicking. They then enter their contact details with the following mandatory information: title, last name, first name, full delivery address, email and telephone number. Delivery and billing to different addresses are accessible via checkboxes that display new forms. When the customer clicks on the "Validate" button, they access the summary of their order where all the information is recalled. Certain fields must be completed so that their selection can be taken into account by PARALLELE-ESHOP: these fields are marked with a red asterisk.
To validate an order, it is necessary to register a secure account with a password. If the customer forgets their password, they can click on "forgotten password" and will automatically receive an email within minutes allowing them to reset it.
It is specified that the customer will bear full responsibility in the event of an error (or incomplete information) in entering their first and last name, billing and delivery addresses. The same applies in the event of their password being communicated to a third party.
After entering their delivery information, the customer will be asked to choose their payment method directly on the Site. Payment for purchases is made either via PAYPAL or via the secure platform of our payment service provider VERIFONE (“Pay with a credit card”).
In the case of payment by credit card, the customer will indicate on the Site the username appearing on the credit card, the number of the card, its expiration date as well as the visual cryptogram. Transactions are entirely processed securely by PAYPAL or by the payment module of our partner VERIFONE. The data recorded by PAYPAL or VERIFONE constitutes proof of any financial transaction between the customer and PARALLELE.
If the customer benefits from a special offer, he must first enter a code that will have been assigned to him in the field provided for this purpose.
He finally validates his order by clicking on the “Validate” button.
This validation constitutes a sale and irrevocably binds the parties.
PARALLELE-ESHOP will acknowledge receipt of the order upon validation by email or by any other means at its convenience, in accordance with the provisions of article L121-19 of the consumer code.
PARALLELE-ESHOP reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order and which, in its eyes, presents any risk.
3.2 Limitation of liability
PARALLELE ESHOP, has, for all stages of access to the Site, the ordering process, delivery or subsequent services, only an obligation of means.
It cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or damage inherent in the use of the Internet network, including a breakdown in service or failure of the customer's connection to the Site, an external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses, or any event qualified as force majeure in accordance with case law and the law. The same shall apply to any damage suffered by the customer to their equipment.
3.3 Refusal of order
In accordance with the provisions of Article L.122-1 of the French Consumer Code, PARALLELE shall be entitled to refuse any abnormal order or order placed in bad faith. As the Site is intended for sales to consumers, it does not allow the purchase of products in large quantities for resale.
PARALLELE reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Products will be invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time the order is validated. In the event that an abnormally low price is indicated due to a technical or human error, PARALLELE reserves the right to ask the Customer to supplement the price already paid or to allow them to cancel their order by reimbursing them for the full amount already paid.
PARALLELE may also refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order.
PARALLELE reserves the right to suspend access to the customer's account in the event of fraudulent use of this account.
ARTICLE 4. CONDITIONS AND SECURITY OF PAYMENTS
Payment for customer purchases is made by bank card: bank cards from the "CB", Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, American Express networks are accepted, as well as payments via the Paypal and ALMA platforms.
The bank card will be debited when the order is prepared.
To this end, the customer guarantees to PARALLELE-ESHOP when ordering that he is the holder of the bank card and that the name appearing on the bank card to be debited is indeed his. As specified in article 3.1 of these general terms and conditions of sale, the customer must also indicate the numbers of the visual cryptogram appearing on the back of his bank card.
In the event that, for whatever reason (opposition, refusal by the issuing center, etc.), the debit of the sums owed by the customer proves impossible, the sale will be immediately resolved and the purchase process canceled.
To ensure payment security, the PARALLELE-ESHOP website uses the secure payment services of CIC and PAYBOX. These services incorporate the SSL security standard. Confidential data (the 16-digit bank card number and the expiration date) are directly transmitted encrypted to the SIPS server without passing through the physical media of the PARALLELE-ESHOP server. When the bank details are validated, the secure telepayment manager sends an authorization request to the bank card network and issues an electronic certificate.
ARTICLE 5 - DELIVERY
Parallèle has chosen La Poste Colissimo and Chronopost to ensure the delivery of your orders in France. And DHL for international orders. We reserve the right to choose our partner carrier if necessary. Each of your orders is shipped within 24 to 48 hours (Monday to Friday). Packages are then delivered by our service providers within 2 to 3 business days for France and 2 to 5 business days for international orders, depending on the delivery method chosen.

Customs duties and taxes may apply for deliveries outside the European Union; these will be the responsibility of the customer and may be requested by the carrier upon arrival of the package in the destination country.
Home and collection point delivery is available with no minimum order anywhere in the world.
Return shipping costs are covered by Parallèle. In France, a prepaid Colissimo label is included with your pair of shoes. For countries outside France, simply send an email to contact@parallele.com to request that your return package be collected by DHL.
As soon as your package is shipped, a tracking number will be sent to you by email. Simply log in to the following website: Colissimo: Track a package and enter your tracking number.
Once your payment has been received, we will process your order and arrange for delivery of the items to the address provided by the customer. Packages are delivered by our service provider based on the information provided when placing your order. It is therefore important to be precise when completing the relevant fields. In the event of an error in the customer's contact information, Parallèle cannot be held responsible for the inability to deliver the item(s) ordered.
Your order may require partial delivery. In this case, the delivery costs that would be the customer's responsibility would only be charged for the first delivery. If the postman is unable to deliver your package (no recipient at the address provided, incorrect address, etc.), the package will be returned to us. We will contact you by email to inform you of the reason for non-delivery. In this case, we will also provide a new delivery date. In this case, the delivery costs are the customer's responsibility.
If the external appearance of the package is not perfect upon delivery, the customer will open it in the presence of the carrier to check the condition of the item(s). In the event of damage to the item, the customer will detail it precisely on the delivery slip or refuse the package.

ARTICLE 6. WARRANTIES AND RETURNS
In accordance with the provisions of Articles L 121-21 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the customer has a right of withdrawal which he can exercise without having to provide reasons, within a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of the items.
In the case of an order for several goods delivered separately or in the case of an order for a good made up of multiple batches or parts whose delivery is staggered over a defined period, the period starts from the receipt of the last good or batch or the last part.
The consumer who wishes to do so may inform PARALLELE ESHOP of his decision to withdraw by sending it, before the expiry of the indicated period, an unambiguous declaration (e.g.: letter sent by post or email) expressing his wish to withdraw. The consumer can use the model withdrawal form available on the Site in the Deliveries & Returns section.
The customer may also return the items directly to PARALLELE ESHOP, without undue delay and, at the latest, within fourteen days of receipt of the items. All items visible on the PARALLELE-ESHOP website are eligible for a refund, with the exception of products already worn and without their original packaging.
For France, return shipping is free; a return slip will be included with your package. Before any return, a return request must be made via your account and validated by our customer service. Otherwise, no refund will be issued.
The return must be made by post, by tracked Colissimo with the attached slip.
In the event of a return requiring customs fees, these will be deducted from the customer's refund.
For other countries, it is necessary to make a request by email in order to obtain a prepaid return slip. Customs duties and taxes may apply for deliveries from countries outside UE. These will be the responsibility of the customer and may be requested by the carrier upon arrival of the package in the destination country, or deducted directly from the Parallèle refund.
Procedure to follow FRANCE and WORLD:

4. Keep proof of deposit of your package. The customer is responsible for the proper delivery of their package to our warehouse. In the event of loss of the package, proof of deposit will be essential; otherwise, we will not be able to process a refund.
In the event of a dispute, PARALLELE-ESHOP will require the customer to provide proof of deposit with the postal service. In the event of a lost package, no refund will be issued without this proof of deposit.
Upon receipt of the package by PARALLELE-ESHOP, the logistics team will assess the perfect condition of the returned merchandise. No returns will be accepted if the returned products have been visibly used or damaged by the customer and this use or damage renders the product unfit for sale. Also, the shoe box is considered a product that must not be damaged or used.
If the return is refused by PARALLELE-ESHOP, the products will be returned to the customer at PARALLELE-ESHOP's expense without the customer being able to demand any compensation or right to reimbursement, with the exception of the subsequent exercise of their warranty rights on the goods sold. If the return is accepted, we will credit your bank account within 10 days.
The refund of the invoiced price of the returned items as well as any delivery costs incurred by the customer - except in the case of partial return of the items, the amount of the delivery costs being fixed, they will not be refunded to the customer - will be made by crediting the Bank Card or PAYPAL account used for payment. It will take place within fourteen days following the date on which PARALLELE-ESHOP received the returned goods, or until the consumer has provided proof of shipment of these goods. PARALLELE-ESHOP can in no case be held responsible for the loss of a package returned by the Customer. It will therefore be up to the customer to keep all proof of return, which assumes that the items are returned by registered mail or by any other means providing a certain date and ensuring tracking of this shipment. Without proof of deposit of the package at our warehouse address, no refund can be made in the event of loss of the latter.
Compensation for the use of the goods sold may be charged to the buyer in the event that he has purchased the goods or used them in a manner incompatible with the principles of civil law, such as good faith or unjust enrichment. This right of withdrawal only concerns items sold on the Site and in no case those sold in physical points of sale.

SALES AND DISCOUNT POLICY:
We do not offer refunds for sales or discounted purchases. However, we do offer exchanges and credits available on our eShop and in-store.
ARTICLE 7. SIGNATURE AND PROOF
For any payment by credit card on the PARALLELE-ESHOP site, the electronic certificate issued by the telepayment manager will constitute proof of the amount and date of the transaction, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 1316 et seq. of the Civil Code as well as the electronic archiving methods implemented by the company SC DIFFUSION SAS.
In this regard, the dates and times of the server will be binding between the parties.
Validation of the order constitutes signature and express acceptance of all operations carried out on the site.
ARTICLE 8. IDENTIFICATION
Providing personal information collected for distance selling is mandatory, as this information is necessary for processing orders, deliveries, payments, and issuing invoices. This information is strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties.
However, as part of the delivery of the items ordered, information is also sent to the website of our transport providers (Colissimo, Chronopost or DHL).
The data recorded by our payment solutions Alma, Paypal, or VERIFONE constitutes proof of any financial transaction between the Client and PARALLELE-ESHOP. It is encrypted, secure, and stored directly with our partners.
Failure to provide information will result in automatic rejection of the order.
In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, amended by Law No. 2400-801 of August 6, 2004, relating to information technology, files and freedoms, the processing of personal information collected on the Site has been declared to the National Commission for Information Technology and Freedoms. The customer has the right to access, modify, rectify and delete data concerning him/her. To exercise this right, the customer must send an email to the following address: contact@parallele.com
In order to facilitate the identification of the Customer, the Customer expressly authorizes PARALLELE-ESHOP to place on the customer's hard drive a file called a "cookie" whose sole purpose is to facilitate said identification.
The customer who refuses to have such a file stored on their hard drive must complete the order validation forms for each order.
ARTICLE 9. LIABILITY
For all stages of access to the site, consultation, filling out forms, placing orders, delivery of items or any other service, the company PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION SAS has only an obligation of means.
Consequently, PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION SAS cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or damage inherent in the use of the internet network and totally outside the due diligence and precautions taken by PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION SAS.
In particular, any disruption in the provision of the service, or any external intrusion or presence of a computer virus, cannot engage the responsibility of the company PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION SAS.
Likewise, any event qualified as force majeure within the meaning of the case law of the Court of Cassation, completely exonerates the company PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION SAS from any liability.
ARTICLE 10. PERSONAL DATA
The company PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION SAS, for the needs of the service, reserves the right to collect personal data relating to users of the site, in particular by means of "cookies" referred to in article 8.
In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, any user or customer of the site may at any time object to the commercial use of said data and also benefits from a right of access, rectification and deletion of data concerning them.
ARTICLE 11. ELECTION OF DOMICILE
The company PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION SAS declares that it has elected domicile at the address indicated at the top of this document.
ARTICLE 12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND COMPETITION
All elements of the PARALLELE-ESHOP website, whether visual or audio, including the underlying technology, are protected by copyright, trademarks, or patents. They are the exclusive property of SC DIFFUSION SAS.
Any user who has a personal website and who wishes to place, for personal use, on his site a simple link directly to the Homepage of the PARALLELE-ESHOP site, must first request authorization from the company SC DIFFUSION SAS.
In this case, it cannot be an implicit affiliation agreement. However, any hyperlink to the PARALLELE-ESHOP website, using in particular framing, deep-linking, in-line linking or any other deep linking techniques, is in any case strictly prohibited.
In all cases, any link, even tacitly authorized, must be removed upon simple request from PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION SAS.
ARTICLE 13. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These terms and conditions, entered into between PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION SAS and the client, express the entirety of the parties' obligations. No indication or document may create obligations under these terms and conditions unless they are the subject of an amendment signed by both parties. No correspondence prior to the signing of this contract may create obligations under said contract. However, if a condition is missing, it will be considered to be governed by current practices in the sales sector.
ARTICLE 14. TOLERANCE OR WAIVER
It is formally agreed between PARALLELE SC DIFFUSION SAS and the customer that any tolerance or waiver by one of the parties in the application of all or part of the commitments provided for in these conditions, whatever the frequency and duration, shall not constitute a modification of this agreement, nor give rise to any right whatsoever. More specifically, no delay or inaction, abstention or omission on the part of the customers in exercising any of their rights under this agreement shall affect said right, nor shall it be considered as implying on their part a waiver of this right.
ARTICLE 15. PARTIAL INVALIDITY
If a particular provision of these conditions is held to be invalid or declared as such by a decision having the force of res judicata of a competent court, the other provisions will retain their full force and scope.
ARTICLE 16. DISPUTES
The language of these general terms and conditions of sale is French. Each party may initiate any useful procedure, express jurisdiction being assigned to the courts of the city of Limoges.
ARTICLE 17 – APPLICABLE LAW – MEDIATION
In accordance with Article L. 612-1 of the Consumer Code, the consumer, subject to Article L.612.2 of the Consumer Code, has the option of submitting a request for amicable resolution by mediation, within a period of less than one year from the date of his written complaint to the professional.
