All Parallèle shoes are handmade in our workshop in Italy, using high-quality materials. Leather, being a natural material, may exhibit variations in grain, color, and natural imperfections, attesting to its authenticity.
1. CLEANING
General advice: Before the first use, treat your shoes with a waterproof spray to protect them from moisture. Store the shoes away from direct sunlight, ideally in the provided cotton travel pouch.
- Smooth leather: Clean with a soft cloth and a wax or cleaning cream.
- Suede or Nubuck leather: Gently brush with a soft-bristle brush to remove dust and light stains.
- Patent leather: Use a soft cloth, avoiding contact with alcohol or solvents.
- Crocodile finish: Brush with a soft-bristle brush. Lifting of faux scales is normal.
2. HYDRATION
For all types of leather, use a specific leather moisturizing cream after cleaning to nourish and maintain the material's elasticity. Apply in small quantities using a soft cloth in circular motions.
3. PROTECTION
After each cleaning and hydration, especially before the first use, apply a protective spray suitable for the type of leather of your shoes. This will help them resist water and stains.
Remove excess moisture with a soft, dry cloth or towel to avoid water damage.
4. POLISHING
Smooth leather: For shiny finishes, use a polish that matches the color of your shoes. Apply, let it dry, then polish with a polishing brush or a woolen cloth for a brilliant finish.
Patent leather: A soft cloth can be used to restore shine without the need for additional products.
CONSERVATION TIPS
Storage: Keep your shoes in a cool and dry place, away from direct light. Use the provided cotton travel pouches for optimal protection.
Shape: Use shoe trees to maintain the shape of the shoes and prevent deformations.
By following these care steps for your Parallèle Paris shoes, you will ensure not only their longevity but also their impeccable appearance, reflecting the craftsmanship and quality of the materials used in their manufacturing.
